Not every cleaning job needs a whole Saturday.

If you’ve got a spare 30 minutes this weekend, here are 5 small jobs worth ticking off. They’re easy to forget, but you’ll notice the difference once they’re done.

1. Give your shower glass some attention

Look for: Cloudiness, water spots and mineral build-up.

If your shower glass is looking a little cloudy, regular glass cleaner might not be enough. Stubborn mineral deposits can build up over time and leave glass looking dull.

Tip: Focus on the areas with the most visible build-up, then rinse the glass thoroughly. For ongoing maintenance, use a squeegee to remove excess water after every shower. 

2. Clean inside your washing machine

Look for: Musty smells, detergent residue and grime / mould around the seal.

Your washing machine cleans your clothes, but it needs cleaning too. Residue and grime can build up in places you don't always see.

3. Check your window tracks

Look for: Dust, dirt, dead insects and moisture.

Open a window and take a look at the track. It's one of those spots that's easy to ignore until you notice just how much grime has collected there.

Tip: Start by brushing or vacuuming out loose dirt and debris. If you spot mould, use Mould Removal Wipes to clean the affected area. 

4. Check those forgotten bathroom corners

Look for: Black spots or mould around silicone, grout and hard-to-reach areas.

Take a quick look around your shower. Mould can hide in the spots that are easy to overlook, especially around silicone and grout.

Tip: Apply the gel directly to affected areas and leave it to work for 3–5 hours before wiping thoroughly. 

5. Wash your cleaning cloths

When was the last time you gave your cleaning cloths a proper wash?
